What's tested
Most 11+ exams cover four areas: maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. Our 11+ courses cover all four.
GL vs CEM
Boards vary by area — GL Assessment is the most common, with some regions using CEM-style papers. Check your target school's format, then practise the matching style.
When & how
The 11+ is usually sat at the start of Year 6 for grammar and independent schools, so most families prepare through Year 5. Little and often, with full mock papers near the date, works best.

Is PassNova Kids Zone free?
Yes — every Kids Zone course and game is completely free, with no sign-up and no adverts. A free parent/child account is optional and just saves progress and badges.
What ages is it for?
Kids Zone is built for ages 5–11 (Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2), plus 11+ entrance-exam preparation for Years 5–6. Pick your child's year group above to see what fits.
Is it aligned to the school curriculum?
Yes. The courses follow the National Curriculum and the real assessments — KS1 & KS2 SATs, the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check, and GL-style 11+ reasoning.
How can I support my child?
Short and often works best — 10 minutes a day beats an hour once a week. Let them choose a game when they have worked hard, talk through the explanation after a tricky question, and celebrate streaks and badges rather than scores.
Is it safe?
Yes — no third-party adverts, no chat with strangers and no data sold. Just friendly, focused practice. Track how your child is getting on anytime in the Parent Zone.
