Stuck on a question? Nova, our AI tutor, is on hand to explain answers in plain language so learners can keep moving.
How our learning content is made
We would rather be straight with you than make claims we can't back up.
PassNova's questions and explanations are expert-informed and reviewed, and built around the real exam formats and the UK National Curriculum. We build free-first to widen access for as many families as possible, and we keep improving the content over time. Like any revision aid, it works best alongside official specifications and a parent's or teacher's guidance.
Parents — tell us how it's going
We're collecting real feedback from families. Used PassNova at home? We'd love to hear what's working (and what isn't) so we can make it better.

Can the whole family really use PassNova for free?
Yes. Every course — from the Kids Zone to Functional Skills, driving theory and our professional courses — is free to practise, with no sign-up needed to start. A free account is optional and simply saves progress for each learner.
Is this a registered school?
No. PassNova is a free practice and revision aid to use alongside your own home-education or schooling — it is not a registered school, an exam board, or a substitute for any legal home-education requirements. Always check your local rules: in England, for example, home education is the parent's legal responsibility.
Do I need a separate account for each child?
No — you can use PassNova without any account at all, and progress is saved per device. If you do create a free account, the Parent Zone lets you keep an eye on how your child is getting on. There is no per-child fee.
We live abroad — can we still use it?
Yes. PassNova works in any modern browser on any device, so expat and international families can keep up with the UK curriculum from anywhere. Bear in mind the content follows UK exams and the UK National Curriculum.
Is it suitable for adults returning to study?
Absolutely. Many parents use the same site to work towards their own Functional Skills maths and English, the Life in the UK Test or driving theory while their children revise — practical, exam-style practice with a clear explanation for every answer.
How is your learning content made and is it reliable?
Our questions and explanations are expert-informed and reviewed, and built around the real exam formats and the National Curriculum. We build free-first to widen access, and we keep improving the content over time. As with any revision aid, use it alongside official specifications and your own teaching.
